The Staff Wellness Facilitator class prepares participants to promote staff well-being within schools and other organizational settings using the 8 Dimensions of Wellness as a practical framework. Participants will explore emotional, physical, social, intellectual, occupational, financial, environmental, and spiritual wellness and consider how each dimension can influence overall well-being. The course focuses on realistic, accessible strategies for encouraging healthy habits, connection, reflection, and resilience among staff while helping organizations create a culture that values wellness as an ongoing practice rather than a one-time activity.
This course is designed for educators, school counselors, social workers, administrators, behavioral health and prevention professionals, wellness committee members, and other staff who are interested in supporting the well-being of their colleagues. Participants do not need a clinical or health-related background to take the course. The training is intended to prepare participants to serve as wellness facilitators and champions within their organizations; it is not designed to train participants to provide therapy, diagnose health or mental health conditions, or serve as a substitute for professional treatment. By the end of the course, participants will have practical ideas and tools they can use to help make staff wellness more visible, intentional, and sustainable within their workplace.
