Miami University's Leadership Essentials Course provides a holistic understanding of topics from talent management and communication to strategic planning. Accomplished Miami alumni with real industry expertise lead six self-paced modules, each focusing on a different area of leadership. Upon completion of the program, you'll earn a shareable, verifiable professional certificate of completion to exemplify your commitment to professional development.
In this course, you’ll explore topics like managing talent, leadership styles, strategic leadership, and communication in leadership. You’ll also dive deeper into boundaries, expectations, and ethics in the workplace and how to inspire and motivate individuals. Other topics include:
