What You'll Learn

The heart of the workplace is people; respecting their unique experiences and perspectives strengthens the workplace and leads to a more vital organization. DEI in the Workplace, Cross-Cultural Communication, and Women in Leadership are topics applicable to anyone who wants to understand, communicate with colleagues, and lead diverse populations.

The DEI in the Workplace section discusses the need for an expanded conceptualization of diversity focused on cognitive diversity, considers why diversity needs to be purposefully managed, and provides tools for working to achieve inclusion and equity.  Next, the topic shifts to culture and how it influences ethics and conflict resolution, as well as factors to consider when choosing successful cross-cultural partnerships.  Finally, Women in Leadership focuses on research with actionable strategies for everyone in the business environment.
